Wow, great experience all round... We took a slight detour to visit before heading up to an event near Dundee the following day, it was a great decision. We had dinner, bed and breakfast. The food was all amazing with good attentive staff and service. Our room (Knarburn) had a cute little chair near the window which was difficult to leave due to the comfort and amazing views. Highly recommend a visit for food or an overnight stay, you won\'t be disappointed!
I stopped for a hot chocolate on a rainy day walking, and received the warmest welcome even though I was totally drenched and my boots were a bit muddy. It\'s such a beautiful pub, they\'ve clearly put a lot of thought into the renovations, and the staff are immensely friendly and kind. I really appreciated the hot drink and rest!
Very comfortable bed, shower nice and powerful.lovely touches like homemade biscuits in the room. Breakfast was good so was my evening meal to celebrate my mum’s 90th. I would not hesitate to return. Fully recommend. Even found a sketch of my dad while eating my breakfast in the small dining room.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Kirkstyle and Sportsman Inn. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The food was truly 5*. Every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavour and the service matched it perfectly. The room we stayed in was gorgeously designed, with so much attention to detail and incredibly comfortable. Set in such a tranquil area, it was the perfect relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return!
We recently stayed at The Kirkstyle Inn & Sportsman’s Rest while visiting Northumbria, and it was a real highlight of our trip. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well thought out — the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the area. Everything felt calm and cared for, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Dinner was a standout. We opted for the Chef’s menu, and it was exceptional — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with great attention to detail. The wine pairing was also incredible and would highly recommend going for it.…
