We are incredibly proud to be named ‘Best Pub Stay’ and be included in the The Times and The Sunday Times 100 Best Places to Stay in the UK 2025. To quote The Times “Everyone rubbed their eyes in disbelief when news broke of this posh dining pub in the South Tyne Valley where, usually, sheep do all the eating”. It is an incredible accolade and a phenomenal achievement and a true testament to the hard work, creativity and dedication of our entire team, who consistently go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. Huge credit has to go to our “preternaturally” Head Chef, Connor Wilson who champions the amazing local produce, sustainability and seasonality. Always taking the lead from our dedicated Northumberland farmers and gamekeepers.
